"Trashed" Again?! Do Me 1 Favor

All right, everyone --- I would really appreciate a quick vote from you. It's one thing after another lately. I just have to get this off my chest... First, it was my Velcro watch. Now, someone's attacking my beloved CROCS (shoes). Receiving e-mails smashing and trashing my Crocs is COMPLETELY out of bounds!!! I don't recognize the e-mail address, so I don't know if it's coworker(s) or what. They included photos of "Men Wearing Crocs," so I posted them for you...right underneath the poll. There's also a picture of my own pair. Here's how I see it: Crocs are worn by a number of medical professionals, as well as many who are in the fashion "know." If you've ever worn them, you know they're INCREDIBLY comfortable. Such hostility?! Does this one have any merit? I admit some of the guys below aren't winning "Best-Dressed" anytime soon. Thanks for listening. Please vote and leave me a comment if you want. And, if you know who's sending these e-mails, please let me know.     ---Gunner

Can you say TOUCHDOWN!

Boys of Fall, Kenny Chesney's documentary about high school football, will premiere Sunday (Aug. 29) on ESPN. He began working on the project in late 2009 as he compiled interviews and footage for the video for his current single, "The Boys of Fall." After shooting footage of New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton, a longtime friend, Chesney decided to expand the video into a full documentary film. The 60-minute documentary includes footage from high school football games and interviews with several prominent figures from college football and the NFL, including Brett Favre, Peyton Manning, John Madden, Tony Dungy, Bill Parcells, Nick Saban, Mack Brown, Jim Tressel and Bobby Bowden. "Making this film had been an incredible journey for me and everyone involved," Chesney said. "Interviewing the men in this film has made me look at my own life in a different way. I hope people out there get as much out of watching this film as I did making it." His new album, Hemingway's Whiskey, will be released on Sept. 28.

Please, Not My Velcro Watch...

Input, please --- I ran into an ex-girlfriend the other day. She immediately noticed the watch I was wearing. I wear it every day. It has a Velcro band, it's comfortable, and it TELLS TIME. She laughed and said my watch was "tacky." I tried to explain my reasons, but her opinion didn't change. Now I'm confused, as usual. What's your opinion? Now I HAVE to know: Is my watch really a problem? Do I need to make a "fashion statement"? Is this B.S.? Is this a woman thing?? Please Vote Below, and scroll down if you want to see the pics. Thank you!
Leave me all your comments/feedback on the watch at the very top of this post (where it says "Leave a Comment"). Can't wait to hear what y'all have to say....    ---Gunner

WELL TAKE A LOOK AT THIS STORY

JULIANNE HOUGH is taking her relationship with TV personality RYAN SEACREST to the next level Hough and Seacrest are reportedly moving in together. The singing beauty sparked rumours of a romance with the American Idol host earlier this year (10), but Hough has continually refuted the reports, insisting their relationship is strictly professional. However, their secret was out earlier this month (Jul10) when they were snapped arm-in-arm on a romantic getaway to Portofino, Italy. Now American tabloid In Touch Weekly claims Hough is set to move into Seacrest's home in Los Angeles' Nichols Canyon. Seacrest has lived alone in the mansion since purchasing it for $11.5 million (£7.7 million) from Kevin Costner in 2006. Hough's love life hit the headlines last year (09) after splitting from singer Chuck Wicks. (The Salt Lake Tribune & Yahoo)

New Reba cd due november 9th

Superstar Reba McEntire will release her new album on Nov. 9. The new record comes less than a year after the release of her latest Gold record, Keep on Loving You, and will be McEntire’s second release with The Valory Music Co. The lead single, “Turn on the Radio,” earned Billboard’s Hot Shot Debut status a week before its official radio release. The song, a modern day kiss-off anthem produced by Dan Huff, will be available on iTunes on Aug. 3. McEntire loved the song so much it inspired her to head back into the studio. "I fell for the song immediately," said McEntire of her new single. "I love that it’s an up-tempo, strong woman song about a woman who has been done wrong by her lover and is telling him to turn on the radio if he wants to hear from her through their favorite song. Dann Huff and the musicians did a wonderful job bringing the heart beat out in the song. It definitely gets your attention from the very start of the song." McEntire’s last release, Keep on Loving You, was certified RIAA GOLD and produced a string of hits, including the Top 10 “Strange” and the history-making “Consider Me Gone,” which spent 4 weeks at the top of the charts. The album’s success extended McEntire’s lead as the female artist with the most RIAA sales certification in Country Music history.

WELL...WHAT DO YA THINK?

LOVE THIS SONG!!!....SO SO TRUE For the first time in 35 years in the music industry The Bellamy Brothers’ newest song release titled “Jalapenos” is being met with great controversy over the lyrics, which are very politically and sexually charged regarding some of the current political and pop-cultural events, such as gun control, immigration issues, and Tiger Woods affairs. Furthermore, the song is accompanied by a music video featuring actors wearing giant masks, for example Sarah Palin, Barack Obama, Tiger Woods, and of course girls in string bikinis are featured throughout the video. There are several different versions of the song, which can be found on BellamyBrothers.com, You-Tube, and ITunes. As for taking off to Europe the brothers are heading out for a tour overseas where a separate new single has been released on Universal Records Switzerland featuring Gölä a Swiss singer that has sold more records than anyone in Swiss history. The Bellamy Brothers stated that they hope their new song “Jalapenos” does not offend anyone, they were just trying to add a smile to people’s faces as they always have, and they hope their passports are still valid on their way home from Europe!

Miss USA..WOW

Miss USA 2010 -- Champion Pole Dancer Rima Fakih was a big winner wayyyyy before she took the crown for Miss USA 2010 last night -- the 24-year-old beauty queen is a former "Stripper 101" pole dancing champion! 0517_STRIPPER_LAUNCH Back in 2007, the sexy pageant queen won a stripper contest for local Detroit radio morning show Mojo in the Morning. We're told Fakih earned some fabulous prizes for the victory -- which included "jewelry, gift cards, adult toys and a stripper pole for home use." And despite the fact that she kept her clothes on during the pole riding, she still managed to walk away with a bra stuffed with dollar bills! Country Stars Deal with Nashville Flooding

After the devastation Nashville faced due to the destructive flooding this past weekend, Country stars have been speaking out about how it has affected them. Dierks Bentley cancelled shows in Knoxville and Charlottesville, Va., for his anticipated Up On The Ridge Tour. Traveling through the Nashville area has become hazardous, with major roads shut down, as well as two interstates. Some of Bentley’s band members and their relatives face severe property damage, which lead to Bentley to cancel his Sunday and Monday concerts. “For the safety of my band, crew and their families back here in Nashville, we are parking the buses and not going to try and attempt the trip east to Knoxville and Charlottesville,” he said. “As much as we’d love to be playing…it feels like the right thing to do. I hope to reschedule both dates soon.” Thirteen inches of rain accumulated in the city in the period of just two days. Bentley posted a photo on his Twitter page (shown) showing his battle with a flooded basement. Naomi Judd also has been having a rough time after the flooding. She told WKRN-TV that the fence on her property was broken and her buffalo were roaming free in Franklin. Many other Country stars have taken to their Twitter accounts to post about how the floods have affected them: * Bomshel: “Oh god. Broadway is about to get flooded. Everybody start praying. Guys, those buildings downtown are just too old to handle that.” * Kellie Pickler: “Just rode past Eric’s school & there are kids in inner tubes floating down the street and in the school yard. Bet schools closed [Monday].” * Laura Bell Bundy: “Crap! Crap! Crap! Water is leaking thru my walls… puddles on my floor… All be electrical outlets. Arrrr!” * John Rich: “7ft deep in Granny Rich’s basement! FireDept is picking her up in a boat! NOAH.” * John Rich again: “Granny is rescued from the flood!” * Michelle Branch: “Luckily, the only thing I may have lost is my car but many others have lost much more. Donate to the Red Cross to help http://bit.ly/a46gSz.” * Kenny Chesney: “TN is a mess with floods. If you’re fortunate enough to help out, hit up the mid-TN Red Cross: http://bit.ly/a46gSz Stay safe, everyone.” * David Nail, stranded in Las Vegas: “And yet my home in Nashville is under water? Bad week for the Nail’s! I miss my wife! Can Chesney send a plane for me?” * Terri Clark: “I am fighting the urge to get in a boat and go rescue people, its so sad. My basement is flooded- no more home theater.”
